Hot tips for the month…for a great escape read "Lost in Translation" by Nicole Mones -- it's part mystery, part love story and extremely well-written. Journalist Marie Brenner's "Great Dames" is an outstanding tribute to the women that have made the last century great. This is not only an excellent read but inspirational as well. For those that read "Beowulf" in high school it may be time to read it again, as Seamus Heaney's new translation is magnificent and sophisticated. Hungry and in North Miami -- two great restaurants to check out -- Fusion Bar & Grille at 17850 West Dixie Highway (305) 931-1113 and La Paloma at 10999 Biscayne Boulevard (305) 891-0505.
